My name is Aurora and I am in my final stage of completing my Diploma in integrative therapeutic counselling. My model of work is first and foremost tailored to the unique needs of the individual I am working with.
I work Integratively with children, young people and adults providing a supporting environment where clients can feel safe, heard and accepted. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy, it is an honest and open space where individuals can reflect upon their experiences, process feelings and develop greater self-awareness and understanding.
I have experience working with children in primary school at a vital age of their development, offering them support to cope with emotional and behavioural difficulties and helping them to develop self- confidence and life-long coping skills through talking and creative work.
I also have experience working within the NHS settings, which has given me the opportunity to work with people from different backgrounds, with a wide variety of presenting issues, such as depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, eating disorder, workplace stress, pregnancy and postnatal depression, trauma, body image and low self- esteem.
Having also a previous background in retail management, along with other professional experiences abroad and here in England, equipped me with a unique set of skills to help others in developing life-long wellness.
I am a native speaker of Italian and French and I can offer session in both languages as well.
