Accessing counselling can be a hard decision, but sometimes we find ourselves in difficult situations, struggling to cope or experiencing painful emotions. During these times we can look for a safe, confidential and calm place to discuss our feelings and this is when counselling may help.
I work with adults, young people and children in an integrative way. My approach is flexible, and I use a variety of therapeutic tools and techniques to suit individual needs, including creative material. I work towards creating a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients as I believe this is at the heart of the healing process. I provide a warm, non-judgemental and supportive space to help my clients explore, identify and reflect on their feelings and difficulties.
Together with my work with adults, I am passionate about therapeutically working with young people and children who can struggle with feelings such as anxiety, depression and anger. I believe that providing space to talk and explore these difficulties can have a positive outcome to their lives.
Specifically, in my work with young people I have experience working with:
- Worries about school
- Academic pressure
I have experience working with:
- Health related issues
- Cultural issues
- Sexual identity
- Child related issues
- Stress and Work-related issues
- Specifically, in my work with young people I have experience working with anxiety and worries about school including areas such as academic pressure, bullying and relationships.
