My primary aim is first to get to know you, get to understand you and your world, both past and present. By building trust and establishing the safety of the space that we will be working in, we can then work together towards building your self-awareness. To gain more knowledge of what it is in your life that you would like to change or have a better understanding of.
Every individual has their own unique story to tell. Exploring that story within a therapeutic relationship will help you to re-connect with what you want most from life and from your relationships with others. I am here to listen and support you through a challenging but rewarding journey of self-discovery. One which will draw on your inner strengths so you may begin to make positive changes in your life.
The truth is that therapy is a tool to aid you to reflect on your life. Taking the same time every week to put yourself first and think about what it is in your life that you might like to change, whilst also celebrating and understanding all the positives in your life as well.
By working as an integrative practitioner I will work with a range of modalities in order to work with what bests suit your individual needs as a client. I work with a range of issues and have a keen interest in exploring client’s existential issues. These are the very questions of our humanity; who am I? How do I fit in the world around me? How do I find meaning in my life?
I am currently working towards obtaining my diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling and building on my client skills and experience with Novo.
