About me

When we’re experiencing hardships, it can often be difficult to perceive our struggles, and ourselves, in a fair way. We often feel lost, unable to cope, and overwhelmed. I strive to explore, through our discussions, what is going on in your life so that we can develop an understanding of your concerns challenges, your experience of these, and your strengths. My hope is that by uncovering these answers together, you will feel more empowered to make changes that matter to you, within yourself or in your life, no matter how big or how small these changes may be.

I work with clients individually and face-to-face. I have helped my clients with concerns related to anxiety, depression, assertiveness, trauma, addiction, insomnia, and career. While I tailor my approach to the unique needs of each client, I always strive to help clients recognise their strengths and resilience, understand themselves and their situation, and learn how to relax, as well as develop tolerance and peace with their difficult emotions.

I recently completed my MA in Counselling at McGill University, which provided me with my first experience working with clients. I have also undergone therapy with different therapists, and understand what it feels like to be the client in the room. I am continuing to providing counselling whilst I'm in the process of working accreditation with a professional body for counselling and psychotherapy. I view therapy as a way to help you gain awareness of your life, one piece at a time, and work towards feeling empowered to make the changes you want. I value the chance to do this in collaboration with you in a safe and relaxed environment.

Sophia is a Tier Three Counsellor and charges fee’s as follows:


  • One-to-One: £35
Sessions are for 50 minutes unless stated otherwise.

I work from relaxed and comfortable therapy rooms at Novo Counselling Bromley, it’s just at the top of Bromley High Street a few minutes from Bromley North or Bromley South. Click here for directions.

How to Pay

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Visa Debit, Maestro, Visa Electron. We’ll ask you to provide your card details when you make your first booking. Note that all card transactions will be listed on your statement as *HST Billing*.
